Last updated: September 10, 2026. This policy explains what personal information I collect through faithmpara.com, why I collect it, and the choices you have. I've kept it as short and plain as I can.
I'm Faith Mpara, a business strategist based in the United States.
I'm responsible for the personal information described in this policy.
If you have any questions about this policy or your information,
you can contact me:
Email: contact@faithmpara.com
Phone: +1 (475) 308-9847
When you contact me through my website form: your name, your email address, what you tell me about your company and your role, and the type of inquiry you choose.
When you email me: your email address and anything you include in your message.
If you become a client: your contact details, your company's details, the information you share so I can do the work, and billing details such as your billing address and invoice records.
When you visit my website: my website host needs some technical information, such as your device's IP address, to show you the site and keep it secure. Only if you agree through the cookie banner, Google Analytics also collects information about how you use the site. This includes the pages you visit, how long you stay, the type of device and browser you use, your approximate location (such as your country or city), and how you found my site. I only see this information in summary form, and it doesn't tell me who you are.
Your cookie choice: Cookiebot keeps a record of the choice you make on the cookie banner, so I can show that I asked.
To reply to your inquiry.
To provide my services to you as a client.
To send invoices and keep financial records.
To understand how visitors use my website, but only if you agree.
To keep a record of your cookie choice.
To keep my website secure and working properly.
I'll only use the details you send through my contact form to reply to you, and to work with you if you become a client. I won't add you to a mailing list or send you marketing without asking you first.
I don't sell your personal information, and I don't share it for targeted advertising. I use a small number of trusted providers to run my business, and they only use your information to provide their service to me:
Webflow, which hosts my website and receives the messages sent through my contact form.
Google, which provides my business email (Google Workspace) and my website analytics (Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager).
Cookiebot (by Usercentrics), which runs my cookie banner and stores your cookie choice.
I may also share information with professional advisers, such as an accountant, or with authorities such as the IRS where the law requires it. Apart from Google Analytics, which only runs if you agree, I don't allow other companies to track your activity on my website or across other websites.
I'm based in the United States, so your information is stored and processed mainly in the US, by me and my providers. Cookiebot stores your cookie choice in the European Union.
If you're in the UK or EU, this means your information leaves your country. My providers protect it using recognized safeguards, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework (including its UK extension) or standard contract clauses.
Inquiries that don't lead to work: 12 months after we were last in touch.
Client and invoice records: up to 7 years, because US tax rules can require records to be kept this long.
Google Analytics data: 14 months.
Your cookie choice: up to 12 months. After that, the banner will ask you again.
When I no longer need your information, I delete it.
I only use reputable providers with strong security. Access to your information is limited to me, and to the providers listed above when they need it to provide their service.
Wherever you live, you can:
ask for a copy of the information I hold about you
ask me to correct information that's wrong or incomplete
ask me to delete your information
change your cookie choice at any time on my cookie policy page
To make a request, email me at contact@faithmpara.com and I'll reply within 30 days. I may need to confirm your identity first.
Do Not Track: my website doesn't respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals, because there's no agreed standard for them. You can control analytics cookies using my cookie banner instead.
My website and services are for businesses. They aren't aimed at children, and I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
My website uses cookies that it needs to work. Only if you agree, it also uses Google Analytics cookies to help me understand how the site is used.
I don't use advertising cookies. You can see the full list of cookies, and change your choice at any time, on my cookie policy page: faithmpara.com/cookie-policy
If you're in the UK or European Union, data protection law (the UK GDPR or EU GDPR) gives you some extra rights and information.
My legal reasons for using your information:
-Replying to your inquiry, and keeping my website secure: legitimate interests.
-Providing my services to you as a client: contract.
-Sending invoices and keeping financial records: contract, and my legitimate interest in keeping the records US tax rules require.
-Website analytics: consent.
-Keeping a record of your cookie choice: legal obligation, because the law requires me to be able to show that you agreed.
Extra rights: as well as the rights above, you can ask me to limit how I use your information, object to how I use it, and ask for your information in a format you can take to someone else. Where I rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
Automated decisions: I don't make decisions about you using automated tools alone, and I don't use your information to build a profile of you.
Complaints: if you're unhappy with how I've handled your information, please contact me first, and I'll do my best to put it right. You can also complain to your data protection regulator. In the UK, that's the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint). In the EU, it's the data protection authority in your country.
I may update this policy from time to time. When I do, I'll change the date at the top of this page. If a change makes a big difference to how I use your information, I'll let you know directly where I can.
